Cece has received two Pushcart Prize nominations and was selected to read in the ALOUD Series at the Downtown Los Angeles Library. She received the Anne Silver Poetry Award and awards from NoirCon, the Arroyo Arts Collective’s “Poetry in the Windows,” and was a finalist in the Earl Weaver Baseball Writing Prize and the Steve Kowit Poetry Prize.
Cece was born and raised in New York City. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Nowadays, she divides her time between Los Angeles and New York City.
